I believe that the expected service range for the A-10 was only until 2010, but with the war in iraq, it's a key fighter. I don't think that the A-10 will be retired any time soon. Unless they have a kick ass replacement for the A-10...

i don't think so either galm, i think they'd just continue to beef it up with later technology until they find a replacement. It'll outlast it's predicted survice length though
hopefully the replacement isn't as ugly lol at least it gets the job done

Just like spidy said they are probably going to beef it up untill the war is over with or untill they can replace it with something a lot better. If it is a key fighter they will probably keep it for later purposes.
