What do you all think about it?
Im not to happy about it. I think that people should get jobs and into colleges based on performance, and intelligence not on past struggles.
I know someone who got a $60,000 scholarship to Washington University and a free, 1st class ticket to go up there to visit, and she says that its most likely because she's three eighths African American. Does that sound fair? She also got accepted to Yale, but she isn't going because she cant afford it.

I'm not fond of affermatve action either... just because someone is a different race, doesn't mean they should get the job over someone that is more qualified. If they're more qualified, then hire them...
