I guess the reason is that I think that the upper class has too much power, and the middle and lower classes are left to struggle. I also think that global warming is a real thing that could very well be the end of our planet. I think we need to reform our health care system because the health care companies are basically profiting off of the deaths of other people. If they deny someone coverage who needs a lung transplant, and that person dies, Humana is happy because they just saved the company a few thousand dollars. I also think that we need to get out of Iraq because we were wrong to go in in the first place. Iraq did not attack our country on 9/11, and their was no evidence that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, and America has never before evaded another country. I also think that we should be helping the poor more than we do now. If we help the lower class we can get closer to eliminating it which will reduce crime, and help some of those people get back up on their feet and live good productive lives.

Because I am a member of the military and I know what the media fails to report. All they care about is what makes a good story. I am republican just for the fact that both Clinton and Obama want to try to take away my right to bear arms. It is a right given to me by our founding fathers.
Universal health care is not bad. Many of the European powers have this type of health care and their doing just fine. This type of care can allow the poorest of Americans to get much needed medical attention that they otherwise wouldn't have sought because they knew they would never be able to afford it.
Our current health care system is broken. The big health care companies are out to make money, and they make money by denying people certain essential procedures or denying people who have a chance of getting sick and costing them a lot of money. Recently a young girl in New Hampshire needed a liver transplant and when a donor was found the health care company refused to pay for the operation because they said it was experimental even though it had been preformed thousands of other times across the country. The girl ended up dying and the health care company ended up profiting.
A universal health care program would solve this problem.
